Only very rare and powerful equipment actually get benefits from higher difficulty levels, reserved for expert players. However, the RPG combat is balanced equally across all difficulty levels. The harder the difficulty, the more complicated the choreography gets, and the more complex the interpretation of the song. How do the different difficulty levels work?Įvery song has three human-choreographed sets of four note tracks to play. There are three difficulties in The Metronomicon - Easy, Medium and Hard. The Metronomicon is built in a custom engine in Java Russian, Traditional Chinese and Japanese might be good options due to the interest shown, but right now those are early numbers and not enough for us to know if we should pursue these localizations. What languages will be available in The Metronomicon?Īt the moment, we have English, Spanish, French, Italian and German localization. It will certainly be some time after the PC versions have been released There are plans, we are just trying to find the best one. Will The Metronomicon be released on other Platforms? So if you see some strategy guides on the community hub, no I'm not stealing anyone's thunder That would be a great idea! I originally planned writing one of my own, but scrapped it when the wiki became a thing. I had some time over the weekend to start writing again. )ĭidn't want to double post, so just a heads up - I've been working on some Steam guides for this game. (If you have time, tune in! You'll have a fun time. For now though, I'm busy with tournament prep and practice. Appreciate the kind words and feedback!Īfter much deliberation I think I'll make videos only if there's something someone is overly struggling with and the tips on the wiki (they'll all be up at some point) aren't enough. Just showing the song and your party attacking might be confusing. As long as you preview what your party's abilities and held items are, the videos should be useful. Would anyone feel that's a good idea, or too spoilerish? I'm debating recording videos as help for some of the more challenging ones (and maybe even for all if I have the time).
